"Simply one of the biggest shocks in chart history" according to the BBC - "Stupid" according to Simon Cowell - The Christmas number one record for 2009 was not another X-Factor machined product and down to the power of Facebook and a little idea pushed forward by a man called Jon Morter.

At University College Falmouth on 28th April 2010, Jon will be explaining how he went about coming up with the idea, putting it together, the all important early days promotion of it and how the Facebook group developed.

The event is hosted by University College Falmouth in conjunction with The Hub and Cornwall Social Media Cafe. The event will be FREE to attend by ticket only and paid for by sponsorship between the School of Media at University College Falmouth, UKNetWeb, Tonick Media, Niddocks Internet Marketing and Mail Away.

The FREE Tickets will become available on Monday 19th April at 1pm here, through this online ticket system.

The event will begin at 6pm for 6.30pm and finish around 8pm.
